On September 27 and 28, 2025, the city center of Eindhoven will once again be transformed into a lively meeting place for anyone interested in technology, creativity and innovation. During Maker Days Eindhoven, you’ll discover the work of more than 100 makers, designers, artists, engineers and innovators from across the Netherlands and beyond. Preparations are in full swing – and a first glimpse of what’s to come has just been revealed.
What can you expect? Think of self-balancing robots playing football on two wheels, interactive installations powered by artificial intelligence, WiFi-controlled zeppelins, aluminum dresses and motion-responsive fashion, and sustainable toy workshops made from coffee grounds and potato starch – plus the now-infamous mini camel race.
There will also be artistic installations, circular design projects, fashion-meets-tech experiences, AI-driven art, and a wide range of surprising makers who fuse technology and craftsmanship in unique ways.
Maker Days Eindhoven 2025 is built around six core themes that reflect the diversity of the maker world:
Makerspaces, where technology and craftsmanship come together in open workshops;
Upcycling, highlighting creative reuse and circular design;
Game & Play, where play becomes a tool for creativity and connection;
XR / Immersive, for engaging experiences using virtual and augmented reality;
Robots, ranging from playful to cutting-edge;
and Fashion Tech, where fashion, technology and self-expression merge.
The theatrical Future Parade will also return. Expect a procession of fantasy creatures, self-built vehicles, robot suits, cardboard aliens and surprising mobile installations that amaze and delight the crowd. Everyone is welcome to join – and those without a creation (yet) can sign up to get support in building their own parade piece.
